Call it a healthy respect for the long arm of the law or neurosis, but I pocket dialed 911 today and I expect that I will be arrested at any moment for making prank phone calls. If you don't hear from me soon, it's cause I'm doing hard time.
I feel a little rejected if you really would like to know. I was pulling my phone out and saw that it said, "Emergency...connecting," so I hung it up really quickly.
Guy called me back and asked if I called 911. I said, I didn't mean to and frantically went into an excuse. Apparently, he didn't want to hear it, he hung up on me midsentence.
