My New Calling

I have decided that a career change is in order. After a $300 phone bill and about 62 emails, I now know exactly what I want to be when I grow up. A Customer Service Representative for AT&T. It may not sound glamorous, but it has a few great perks. A great creative outlet, as you can make stuff up at will. You get to charge people for whatever you like and you get to declare new doctrine, like a voice from on high.

"Texting and data, once charged in the same category, no longer will be. And so it was written, and so it shall be."

I would be drunk with power. It would be great.

wow, this post is errily timely!

I've been battling AT&T customer service for a couple of weeks. After 2 hours in the store with the assistance of a very kind live staff member who talked to the 1-800 number rep for me, I thought we had everything worked out...until I got the bill yesterday. COMPLETELY WRONG.

Back to the drawing board.

Or you could just work for HP and make a lot of empty promises.

Have I told you about the time I called AOL to cancel my account and spent an hour in a circular conversation that elicited the only "F Bomb" I've dropped since high school? All I'm sayin is, I feel your pain.

Wow AT&T must be on a death wish, we too are battling them (for months now) and again got a bill with only 1/3 of the promised refunds.... HATE them!! but if you put a complaint on the BBB website they are suddenly fawning all over to help you....
