And so it begins....

I have sacrificed my first chapstick to the gods of summer. I carelessly left it lying in the cupholder of my car, and now have a huge mess in there.

It's bitter sweet, really. Happy to have warmer weather. Angry to have lost my favorite chapstick to my own stupidity. Couldn't even have left it standing straight up. Stupid. Stupid.

It's official. Summer-Game On. HooRah!

Ooh! I hate when that happens. I'm pretty protective about my chapstick so it's almost like a family member has died.

Okay, so perhaps that's an exaggeration. A slight exaggeration.

I hate that during the summer I can't leave chapstick in the car! Surprisingly, it hasn't gotten that hot here in Vegas...weird!

Here's my big mistake for summer so far: I let myself get talked into cutting bangs. Bangs that hang in my eyes and on my enormous forehead right in time for the 110 degree weather to start. I have since realized that having this hair hang in my face only makes the recent hot weather that much less pleasant.
Good luck with the next tube of chapstick.

Just re-melt it standing up. The consistency will never be the same, but using it will constantly remind me never to make the same mistake again.
