I guess it's funny to be a stoned 8 year old on the way home from the dentist...but this? This just makes me uncomfortable to watch.
But I love that Dave it all over Joaquin. He does not miss a beat. And did you notice, Letterman agrees with me and the gum chewing. It's annoying.
Where are Joaquin's friends? How have they not had a sit down with him? He's just making me sad, now. I'm hoping it is a Kaufman-esque hoax. Please...I'd be sad to really see Joaquin go this way.

I know. If he's serious about this whole "rapping" thing then the drug problems are a waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay bigger problem than we might have first thought. Maybe he needs an intervention with Mickey Rourke.
That is soooo sad! I know he's had a pretty rough life. You'd think he would be smarter and stay away from drugs considering that's how his brother died. I do hope he has some friends that are helping out right now.
I haven't been able to find a video of this that actually works. I want to see. I so love Joaquin, and I'm worried about him.
When I saw this, I thought/think it is a hoax. Letterman seemed to play along and didn't get too annoyed, which I think he would have been if Joaquin really had been that out of it. And Joaquin struggled to keep a straight face at times. I didn't find it funny (just annoying, really), but I'm not worried.
